PHILOSOPHY

My Special Nanny Home Day Care Services attempts to meet the needs of children by offering supervised care within a family setting. Through a variety of daily experiences and guidance of trained home visitors, our agency seeks to foster your child's physical, emotional, social and language development.
Our agency matches parents and children with compatible providers within the child's own neighbourhood, on route or by parent's place of employment. Providers are carefully screened with a fire and health inspection done in their home and a Police check is done before a child is placed; and only after the provider, parent and child have had an opportunity to meet.

VALUES

The value of children can not be measured and we ensure that children in our care are looked after in a two-fold way. This is a two-way interaction and the care must be nurturing and encouraging. Through our providers, we provide a positive impact on the children in our care and the children grow in confidence and trust. Our business is run with mutual respect for our clients and the children.

Here, we might include a brief statement about our objectives and why we run our business the way we do. For example:

Our business is dedicated to the production of a good quality, inexpensive product that will improve the lives of our customers.

Our Company

We'll include information about our business here. If we're running a small family business, for example, we might include personal information about how we became interested in our product or service and what it's like to be small business owners. Or, if our business is larger, we might talk about our company's founders and its history.

EMPLOYEES

When we screen providers, we consider their attitudes towards child discipline and management. Behavior management principles and methods are discussed during provider orientation and followed up at workshops and training sessions. Children are disciplined in a positive manner at a level that is appropriate to their actions and ages. Spanking and other forms of corporal punishment are prohibited. Your own level and philosophies on child management can be discussed at the initial meeting between you and the prospective provider.
